From powerful botanicals to innovative peptides to our choice of preservatives – each and every ingredient is meticulously chosen for its unique skin-enhancing properties.
We embrace natural as well as skin-identical active ingredients your skin recognizes and can work with.
In our selection process we focus on biocompatibility and skin benefit rather than whether an active ingredient is natural or synthesized in the lab. While many of our ingredients are natural or naturally derived, we also purposefully include ‘smart’ lab-created peptides, microbiome-activated brightening actives and other innovative ingredients that safely work with your skin and whose rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory or skin-replenishing are clinically proven to deliver results.
Optimal PH levels are crucial to us so that your skin can maintain a healthy acid mantle and we make sure our ingredients have the appropriate molecular size to be absorbed.
We are commited to kind ingredients.
You will not find ingredients in our products that are known irritants or harsh on your skin. In fact, we have left out what doesn’t need to be in there in the first place.
That means no fillers, harsh preservatives, parabens, phthalates, large amounts of drying alcohols , mineral oil, sulphates or genetically modified organisms.
We do not use essential oils in any of our facial products as they can be putting you at risk for irritation, especially if you have sensitive or sensitized skin or are pregnant.
Our products are either fragrance free (i.e. without any added fragrance), or formulated with fragrance oils devoid of known allergens, which means they do not contain any of the 26 potential allergens as outlined in the seventh amendment of the EU cosmetics directive, setting the safety bar very high.
Our positive impact goes beyond skin deep. We aim towards mindful skincare.
We are committed to a minimalist, eco-conscious approach to skincare. We believe in fewer products with more benefits and less waste and space.
We have opted for mindful, recyclable packaging much of which can also be re-used: we use glass jars and bottles for most of our products, as well as recyclable carton boxes and paper. Our airless containers consist of recyclable plastic.
Whenever possible we source our botanicals sustainably. We do not claim to be perfect, but commit ourselves to continuously improving ourselves so as to leave as light as possible a footprint on this beautiful planet.
All our products are cruelty free.
For us it is not enough to say we do not test our finished products on animals, we also make sure that each individual ingredient is never tested on animals either. All our products are Vegan-friendly, apart from the HydraReplenish Moisture Complex which contains a milk-derived peptide.
