What makes your products different?

Anna Rekers Smart SkinCare was founded with the mission to provide premium-quality, multifunctional skincare solutions free from hype and fillers, thoughtfully crafted to empower your unique beauty from the inside out.

Why is biocompatibility so important in skincare ?

We believe that healthy, radiant skin can only be achieved through formulas that are balanced, respectful and supportive of your skin barrier, and made with ingredients that work in harmony with your skin’s own biology. In short, for skincare to be effective it needs to be compatible with your skin. 

This biocompatibility has been the backbone of our formulations. In our formulation process we put skin health first. We carefully test PH levels and make sure we incorporate our active ingredients at optimal concentrations and molecular weight so that what you put on your skin can be absorbed and go where it needs to go to do its job.  

Where are your products made?

Our products are meticulously crafted and manufactured in Greece, in a facility that meets all EU Cosmetic requirements. 

Our formulas are made in small batches and packed with powerful, high-quality ingredients sustainably sourced from all over the world.

Are your products 100% natural?

We are committed to only using ingredients that are proven to be safe, effective and which your skin can recognize and work with.  In our selection process we prioritize this biocompatibility and skin health over whether an ingredient is natural or synthesized in the lab. 

While most of our ingredients are naturally derived (around 90% ), we are not blinded by the ‘natural’ label.  Not everything nature produces is good for your skin, and many natural materials are processed in the lab before they can even be used in skincare.  We combine the finest Nature has to offer with innovative, synthetically-derived ingredients for optimum results.

Are your products suitable for vegans?
With the exception of our HydraReplenish Moisture Complex which contains a milk-derived peptide, all our products are suitable for vegans. 
Do your products contain fragrance or essential oils?

We have put a lot of thought and effort into what we put into our products, and just as much into what we leave out.  Avoiding known allergens as stipulated by the EU Cosmetics regulation was a no-brainer for us. This means that:

  • We do not use essential oils in any of our facial products. 
  • Our face serums are free of added fragrance
  • We do use fragrance in our moisturizers, but have selected fragrance that does not contain any of the 26 listed known allergens as stipulated by the EU Cosmetics Regulation Board. 

We pride ourselves on being one of the few skincare brands to use fragrance free of known allergens. Still, we recommend you always do a patch test first.

What is the PH of your products?
All our products are formulated within the 4.7 – 6.5 PH range, so as to be optimally compatible with your skin’s own acid mantle.
Are your products safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Our formulations are generally suitable to use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, since every pregnancy is unique we recommend reaching out to your doctor or clinician with our ingredient list if you have any safety concerns.  We also suggest you do a patch test first.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes. None of our products have been or will ever be tested on animals.  What is more, we only source our raw materials from suppliers that share these same values.
How should I store your products?

We recommend storing our products in a cool, dark and dry place away from direct sunlight.  Normal room temperatures up to around 24 degrees Celsius are best.

However, if you live in a hot climate or during particularly hot summer months, our most nurturing and nutrient-dense formula, the HydraReplenish Moisture Complex might best be refrigerated after opening just so that its rich texture remains unaffected by the heat. 

All products should be stored with the lid firmly closed, in upright position.

Do you provide samples?
We currently provide 2 free samples with every order. If applicable, you can indicate your preference in a note to us at checkout.
Do you have a brick-and-mortar store as well?
No, our unique formulas are sold on the Anna Rekers Smart SkinCare website.
How do I know if my order was made?
You will receive a notification to the provided email address confirming that your order has been received. 
I made the payment but never received confirmation of my order.
If you haven’t received your confirmation email from us, please do check your spam folder. Failing that, please get in touch through our contact form or send an email at info@annarekers.com Please include your order number and your email address in your request to ensure a timely response from us. 
How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, Maestro and Master credit and debit cards, Paypal and direct deposit into one of our bank accounts. For customers in Greece cash on delivery is also possible.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?

Providing you with a safe and secure shopping experience is non-negotiable to us.  

When entering your card details you will be automatically transferred to the secure payment system of the Alpha Bank, and transferred back to our online store after successful payment.

Can I make an order on the phone?
We’re sorry but for security reasons we only accept orders made through our website.
I am a resident outside the EU, do I pay VAT on your products?
The VAT included in our prices applies to EU customers. Customers outside the EU region are exempted from paying our local VAT at checkout. However, please note that orders from our site for delivery outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches your country. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Kindly note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Can I track the delivery of my order?
Yes, you will receive an email from us once your order is on its way.  This will contain a tracking number and a tracking link you can click on to view the tracking information of your order.
What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, simply reach out to us at info@annarekers.com  to resolve the issue.
